Mission

THE GREAT COMMISSION

Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Mark 16:15-16

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38

Beliefs

We believe that through our relationship with Christ, we are healed, renewed, redeemed, forgiven, transformed, and loved. It’s our passion to share this faith and hope with the world.

ABOUT THE BIBLE

We believe that the Holy Bible is God’s Word; and that it is inspired and alive today. The Bible is without error and is the sole authority for salvation and Christian living. The King James Version is our preferred translation. It is compared to bread, in multiple passages, and is necessary for our daily living. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25)

ABOUT GOD

We believe in the one eternal and invisible God who is the creator of heaven and earth, and all living things. He has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Galatians 3:20; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16)

ABOUT SIN AND SALVATION

We believe that humans are the supreme object of God’s creation and are made in the spiritual image of God. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by tendencies of disobedience toward God called “sin.” Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our lives. According to scripture, everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

ABOUT THE GOSPEL

We believe the gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins! He was buried and rose again on the third day. We obey the gospel by repentance (death), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection). (Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17)

ABOUT CHRISTIAN LIVING

We believe as Christians; we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today. (Mark 12:28-31; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14)

ABOUT THE FUTURE & ETERNITY

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ; a post-tribulation rapture, and the final resurrection, and the final judgment. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally present with Him is Heaven. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence. (John 3:14-17; Romans 6:23; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11, 15)
